My name is Alberto Calore! I'm a Statistician and an Economist who's also very good at coding.
I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Economics in 2021, followed by a Master's degree in Statistical Sciences in 2024, both from the University of Padua.

    Thanks to my Master's Degree I achieved a deep knowledge in:
    • analyzing all kind of data using the latest Data Mining technologies;
    • analyzing time series, in particular economical data;
    • analyzing epidemiologic and medical data, with particular dedication on neourlogical, oncological and omics data.
    Thanks to my Bachelor's Degree I achieved knowledge of:
    • the functioning of corporate economic and financial control systems;
    • the functioning of institutions and monetary and financial markets;
    • marketing and human resource management.
    My programming skills are assured by the publication on CRAN of the R package MARMoT , currently with 2000+ downloads, and by the certification received by SAS as a certified "SAS programmer in the field of Advanced Data Analysis for Life and Social Sciences".

    Some of my past working experiences and collaborations include "Data manipulation for Nuclear fusion simulations" (200 hours - High School training programme) at Consorzio RFX in Padua, working as a counting agent during elections, working with University of Padua supporting with COVID-19 regulations, assisting international students using Spanish and English during open days and graduation cerimonies, and working as a professional photographer.

    Personally I value my critical thinking and problem solving abilities that allow me to be efficient during analisys. Also my experience has helped me develop leadership skills and confidence in public speaking: Statistical science is not a lonely job and an effective communication comes a long way.
